The 10DHC helped switch my default away from bagels, donuts, and afternoon cookies to much healthier food options like fruit, carrot sticks with red beet hummus, protein balls, and blueberry almond scones; really delicious choices that have transformed my otherwise lazy, convenient eating habits.  I feel fantastic and have lots of energy.  In our fast-paced Hot Pocket world, the Challenge is a godsend that I plan to use the rest of my life!

Haley & Claudine are so knowledgeable and there is no such thing as a stupid question. I could come to them with really basic or very technical questions and they always took the time to make sure I got my answer and learned something useful. Plus, as a somewhat recent vegetarian, they guided me through a vegetarian version of the Meal Plan that not only helped me get the protein I needed but keep my intake of empty carbs down. Hannah

Overall, I am SO IMPRESSED. The whole program was well organized and beautifully done. I loved having a grocery list – it made our life so simple during the week. My husband and I never wasted time on, “what do you feel like for dinner?” conversations. We loved trying new recipes and talking about how the food made us feel. I was shocked how easily I gave up coffee in the morning since I have had it every day for the last 12-14 years. It was a fun challenge to be social without alcohol and re-confirmed my self-will when exposed to delicious treats. I learned something every day in the emails, which were great to read. Since I did the 10 Day Health Challenge in August, my entire lifestyle has changed. Now I always look for the freshest food and am creative in the ways that I prepare it. I found that caffeine was something I relied on, but without it, I still feel great. And if there’s something I really want to indulge in, y’all taught me that is okay! I used to love sweets, but now I don’t even really want them or enjoy them. I find that I’ll enjoy a banana with almond butter just as much. Plus, eating this way has created a wonderful change in my body and in my running. I feel lighter and am faster and can see results from any strength training I do! In fact, I PR’ed a 10K right before Thanksgiving and was so excited. I love the updates on Instagram and Twitter and I’m really excited to see the menu for the next Challenge!

While I’m a somewhat healthy eater, it is always good to learn about new foods to incorporate into one’s diet. Haley and Claudine’s 10 Day Health Challenge introduced me to some new options and recipes. Plus is was fun and doable! Most notably for me is almond meal. I love almonds and have made pie crust with nuts but never knew I could bake muffins, cookies, etc., with this great product. Even though there was a lot of prep work, it was easy to stay on the plan and I always felt satisfied. I did not cheat once, which is a lot coming from a person with no will power. The time and effort forced me to make it worth my while. I lost about 3 lbs. during those ten days. Sugar is my personal enemy and this plan really helped me get off it. I continue to use about the recipes and have incorporated many of the new ingredients into my regular diet.
